CDS and the CDS Foundation host bi-monthly "Dreams Come True" info session/tours to "expand our circle of friends, and to raise awareness of CDS and its services," notes Stephanie D. Buchbinder, Communications and Development Director. Since late 2005, more than 100 guests have participated in these gatherings designed to give people from all walks of life an experience of the various "abilities" of individuals with developmental disabilities. The sessions last for one hour and include a light lunch or breakfast. One highlight is a tour of the Unistel spice packaging facility, wherein participants meet workers and observe them as they operate spice bottling machinery.
