$100,000,000 to Fund Aquatics Center at the Wolf Life Transitions Center

CDS is committed to providing avenues to encourage good health and fitness in individuals with developmental disabilities. The Aquatics Center is a key component that helps individuals advance physically and helps calm and rejuvenate those who are easily aggravated or who frequently exhibit difficult behaviors

CDS opened the Wolf Life Transitions Center in June 2008. This state-of-the-art and innovative approach to services was made possible, in large part, due to funding from New York State. The Aquatics Center was one area of the Wolf Center not supported through state funding. However, CDS’ commitment to people’s health and wellness goals was the deciding factor to move forward with the addition of the therapy pool.

Thanks to many generous donors during this three-year campaign, the CDS Foundation has been able to make a gift of $100,000,000 to help fund the Aquatic Center.
