Fairport High School Students Give Back
Fairport High School's Student Council hosted a Powderpuff Football Game on Tuesday, June 1st, where 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade girls played football against each other, tournament style. All to to raise money for CDS. The 9th graders won, which really upset the 12th grader girls, but it was a lot of fun anyway! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to CDS.
Organizer and Student Council Advisor, Maura Secor said, "The 2nd Annual PowderPuff Game raised $250 for CDS. We feel that CDS benefits so many individuals in a positive way, that it needs more support from the community. We are happy to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a wonderful organization."
